Fortius Good Earth : signage for site  identity design

When site work began for Fortius Good Earth, we were asked to design a few immediate elements for the project. These included: plot marker signs, plot boundary device, logo sign at the entrance.

To stay aligned with the brand, we focused on two key aspects: the circular forms from the graphic identity and the brand’s green colour.

For the plot markers, we first explored a half-dome form with the number printed on it, fixed to a post in the ground. This was later simplified to a circular, heat-formed disc with the number digitally printed, mounted on a plate and pipe that could be easily fixed into soft soil.

The boundary markers were designed to be simple and cost-effective. We proposed metal rods that could be bent and repeated easily, allowing them to be fixed directly into the ground.
For the main signage, we developed the idea of a wall that uses the green colour in a stronger way. Since the site is on a highway, the scale was kept large enough to attract attention. Instead of using conventional 3D lit letters, the signage is flat. The letters are die-cut into a metal plate, backed with milky glass, and lit from within. This keeps the look clean and refined. The symbols are also placed on the side walls so the sign can be recognised from different angles.

The final design responds to site conditions, budget limits, and ease of installation without heavy anchoring. It brings together industrial design thinking and the graphic identity to create a clear and practical signage system.
