Tube Meeting Tables  furniture design

Mazumdar Bravo Architects are a young and a progressive architectural practice in Mumbai, India.

For their new office, they wanted us to design and make meeting tables.

They shared with us a design intent sketch that outlined the sizes, the form of the tables and the dimensions with respect to their office space.
The outcome is two meeting tables.

The tables are defined by the distinctive legs of a larger diameter with a rounded end where it touches the floor. The rubber grommets on the legs allow for the cable to rise from the ground and arrive through the legs under the table top.
The tabletop has a chamfered edge and is PU painted. The decision to have both the tabletop and the legs in a single colour; makes the table look unified.

When placed in the office space, the tables have presence and take away the boredom of meeting tables in general.
